If you’ve booked tickets online, ensure you have valid identification for ticket verification.

3. Check for Events
Be aware of any ongoing events or performances that might affect regular visiting hours or areas accessible to visitors.

4. Dress code
There is no mandatory dress code. However, we recommend dressing appropriately for the setting, i.e. not too casual and sporty. You should avoid flip-flops. On gala evenings, gentlemen should wear a dark suit and ladies a dress.

5. Kids fun
If you are traveling with children who can already read and write, then you should book the Arsène Lupine Immersive Game, which we describe in detail in our tickets and tours section. Another good idea is to take them to the gift shop of the house that offers products for children.

6. Check the book and souvenir shop
Here you’ll find books on opera, music, dance, the history and architecture of the Palais  Garnier, DVDs and CDs of performances, products for children, and a wide selection of postcards, stationery, posters and gifts.

7. Accessibility
Persons with reduced mobility and with visual impairments have safe access to the Palais Garnier, except for the venues for temporary exhibitions.

8. Photography
Be aware that photography and video recording are permitted for private purposes only. However, the use of tripods and flash is prohibited.

9. Rules & Instructions
